Brief
Together campaign is the main platform for all charities, inclusive playground equipment, parents, supportive individuals and more to be as one to demand the need for inclusive playgrounds for the 1 million disabled children in the UK excluded of the joys and opportunities of playgrounds
Playgrounds are crucial for a child's development and ability for socialisation. Promoting inclusive playgrounds encourages empathy and reduces exclusion. Promoting advertisement in urban and rural areas is crucial for bringing awareness and encouraging parents and supportive individuals to join and understand.
Awareness
1 in 8 children live in homes without outdoor spaces
Petitions, protests and interventions further making individuals aware and ensuring disabled children and parents are seen and the need for change.
Support and Recruiting
Inclusive equipment placed outside of schools, green spaces and urban areas to encourage children to utilise and make individuals question, why these are located here and not in playgrounds. The urban interventions are to promote the need and show the significance of the positive impact of play and that every child deserves it no matter their ability.
